Regarding south Sardinia, the domestic network to
Cagliari airport will begin from April 2017: a non-stop daily flight is planned
from Milan Malpensa, Naples, Bologna, Turin and 5 weekly frequencies will be
operated from Verona.
The Italian island has about 2,000 km of Mediterranean
coastline. Above all, Sardinia is famous for its white sandy beaches and for
the Costa Smeralda life style in summer; however the island, mainly unknown,
offers the most enchanting landscapes in springtime: wild and rural
countryside, sensational food and wine itineraries, super-friendly local
people, natural beauty and archeological sites such as Nuraghi, dating back
thousands of years.
